Jurassic World . . .A Yes!
Tarzan and Jane, here, from the middle of the Pacific. To say that we’ve been waiting for a comparable sequel to Jurassic Park (because the two follow-ups aren’t up to par) would be an understatement. Tarzan remembers waiting in a line that stretched around the block to watch the original movie that was a breakthrough in CGI! So we’ve eagerly anticipated the release of Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Tarzan says . . . This was AWESOME and I would say the best one of the series. It was exciting, the dinosaurs were legit and the two main characters were cast with actors I really like. The comic relief added by Jake Johnson who stars in The New Girl (a show I love), was classic and laugh-out-loud funny. This will be a move that I will watch multiple times, so with that said, I say it’s a “must see” in the theater. 10 Vines.
Jane says . . . I’m going to be honest. The fact that Chris Pratt stars in this movie was enough to get me to the theater; a close second is that it is a part of the Jurassic Park franchise. Who doesn’t want to see a hot guy and epic dinosaurs? Neither of which disappointed! While I can’t honestly say that the movie was able to be categorized as a cinematic achievement through script, acting or effects, I can say that I was completely entertained. Highlights of the film were definitely Chris Pratt, who played the ruggedly handsome hero without whom everyone would have died (even if many did), the awesome dinosaurs, and the intriguing idea of the velociraptors being trainable. One delta for me would be Bryce Dallas Howard’s controlling head of the Jurassic World theme park, who’s character doesn’t move to far beyond the stereotypical damsel in distress. However, in some ways, maybe there were steps attempted to break her out of that mold in a couple of cinematic moments. Overall, Jurassic World follows the formula of the original and is predictable, but I had a lot of fun watching the movie. In fact, the last fifteen minutes had me wide-eyed like a ten year old who wanted to bounce in my seat with unconcealed joy. 8.5 Vines
Tarzan Jr . . .I give this movie 100 out of 100!
Jane Jr . . .I love this movie. It was really awesome. Chris Pratt is hot and the dinosaurs were super cool. 10 vines
