The Amazing Spiderman 2 – ELECTRIC!
Tarzan and Jane here from the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Ever since the previews hit theaters, we’ve been excited to see what the next installment of The Amazing Spiderman held. Would it hold up to the magic of the first?
Tarzan says . . . The Amazing Spiderman 2 was awesome and I liked it better than the first. Electro was very cool and his sequences, including the scoring, were really fantastic. The move is straight up legit and worth paying full price in the theater. I definitely want to watch it again in 3D because of the visual sequences with Electro. 9 of 10 Vines.
Jane says . . . There is something very cute and endearing about Andrew Garfield’s version of Peter Parker. He’s an excellent vision of the cartoon character, and he does a great job of bringing the character to life. Likewise, Emma Stone is adorbs (as Jane Jr. would say). I was really looking forward to seeing Electro brought to life having been a fan of the original 1967 version of the Spiderman Cartoon, I wondered how the vision might come to fruition. The result was visually stunning. As Tarzan and I watched the movie, he continually leaned over and whispered, “I need to watch this again in 3D.” While I wouldn’t give the movie 10 stars for its plot which was a bit convoluted and a mix bag of story-telling cliches, the acting and the cinematography made it worth a trip to the movie theater. It is the true version of a summer popcorn flick. 7 of 10 Vines
Tarzan Jr . . . thought that this movie was crazy and cool! There was a part in which Electro played The Itsy Bitsy Spider song which was funny. My favorite part was the appearance of Rhino. 9 of 10 vines.
